CARD 2128.213 – THE RECKONING – NIGHT 3

THE RECKONING enters it’s third night and the focus tonight is tag team action! At the top of the mountain, THE GLADIATORS who have a stranglehold on the belts. Next in line though are THE IMMORTALS. Could BLACK DEATH pick up the win here and finally dethrone the Champions?
Interesting note, there are rumors that BLACK DEATH members such as ORACLE, ZYGON and COVEN BLACK have been overheard complaining to SUR and BEX that they feel their powers are weakened. Even ABROZ has been overheard talking about this. SUR and BEX have supposedly been reassuring them that there’s a reason for that and it all changes tonight. Interesting goings on fans! Now, to the action.
ALL MATCHES ARE FOUGHT UNDER TITAN DEATH RULES. NO DQ or COUNTOUT!
ABROZ once again accompanies BLACK DEATH wrestlers to the ring. DARK MENACE is still on vacation.
MATCH 1
BLACK DEATH ARCANA d. PAYBACK TIME via pinfall after ORACLE hits OVERTIME with DARK FUTURES – ***1/4 – Good match, both teams were close several times to winning, but there were notable occurances on both sides. At one pointZYGON went for TRI-DEATH and he crumbled to a heap on the mat. PAYBACK capitalized and took over. ORAACLE and ABROZ were weirded out when this happened. On the Titans’ side of things, there seems to be some dissension between OVERTIME and PAYBACK. Several times during the match, OVERTIME forced a tag and was heard saying, “Get out of the ring old man.” We’ll see what develops there.
MATCH 2
BLACK DEATH ARCANA d. TRICKS & NOSFERA when ORACLE hit DARK FUTURES on NOSFERA – *1/4 – This one was a quick one. ORACLE dominated NOSFERA soundly, never letting him tag out and never tagging out himself. Total domination. After the bell, OMEN rang to ringside cheering with glee and he shook hands with ABROZ. Obviously there was some collusion here. BLACK DEATH ARCANA marches on.
MATCH 3
BLACK DEATH ARCANA d. WARRIORS BORN when ZYGON pins THRAXX with a surprise small package – * – ZYGON wanted to tag in but ORACLE was skeptical after what occurred during the first match. ZYGON fought well and, though he didn’t attempt the TRI-DEATH he still picked up the victory.
MATCH 4
ULTIMATE FIGHTERS d. BLACK DEATH ARCANA when CLINCH pins ZYGON after ground and pound – * – Fatigue finally caught up to BLACK DEATH ARCANA. They could not withstand the pounding that a fresh and ready to go ULTIMATE FIGHTERS dished out. After the bell CLINCH and SHOOT did their wild arm gestures for the crowd as they awaited their next opponents!
MATCH 5
ULTIMATE FIGHTERS d. BLACK DEATH SPELLBOUND when SHOOT makes COVEN BLACK tap out with TAPPED OUT – DUD – This one saw some okay back and forth. Several times COVEN BLACK attempted to use BITE OF THE VAMPIRE but he’d just crumble to the mat clutching his head. The final time this happened, SHOOT took advantage and got the win.
MATCH 6
RECONCILIATION d. ULTIMATE FIGHTERS via pinfall after SWARM hits CLINCH with VENOMOUS STINGER – *** – This one could have gone either way. In the end the ANI-MEN do it. They were helped in part by a mysterious figure who came to ringside. It appeared to be the ULTAMANTIS BLACK character we’d seen a few fight cards ago, but the body shape was way different. The figure distracted ULTIMATE FIGHTERS enough for RECONCILIATION to get the win. SWARM and MANTIS seemed to know the figure was there the whole time.
MATCH 7
FDF WATCHMEN d. RECONCILIATION via pinfall when PSI hits SWARM with MINDO OVER MATTER – * – SWARM was weakened a little from the match with the ULTIMATE FIGHTERS and PSI and HELSIN kept him separated from making the tag, wearing him down. Even the odd appearance of ‘ULTRA MANTIS BLACK’ couldn’t distract FDF WATCHMEN enough for SWARM to make the tag.
MATCH 8
FDF WATCHMEN d. BLACK DEATH REVOLUTION when HELSIN hits a Trinity SPear on HAVOC out of nowhere – * – ALPHA FEMALE was runing roughshod over both HELSIN and PSI, though she didn’t look as strong as she normally does. More weirdness when HAVOC went to hit COSMIC NIGHTMARE and he crumbled to the mat in pain, like we’ve seen before.
MATCH 9
GAMEMASTERS d. FDF WATCHEN via pinfall after THANTOS (II) delivers a top rope clothesline to HELSIN – DUD – FDF WATCHMEN were no match here for THE GAMEMASTERS who cakewalk through this match.
MATCH 10
IMMORTALS d. THE GAMEMASTERS via pinfall when BEX hit STAR WARRIOR (II) with MORTAL MUTILATION – **1/4 – IMMORTALS just methodically picked THE GAMEMASTERS apart. It was not even a contest. BEX and SUR wanted to win and they did. Now they will challenge THE GLADIATORS for the titles!

THE GLADIATORS d. IMMORTALS via pinfall when RUSH hits BEX with a Springboard Decapitator our of nowhere – * – THE GLADIATORS wasted no time in demolishing the IMMORTALS in this one. SUR didn’t even tag in and he was furious that the decision was made without any of his involvement. SUR went over to yell at BEX but BEX was slow to get up. Interesting note that ABROZ at ringside, crumbled to the floor after the pinfall. It appears there’s some hinkey things going on with the BLACK DEATH powers.
