It’s the longest day of GWF action in the calendar year, but it always seems to deliver the action! This year was absolutely no different!
The GWF Ranking Gauntlet is a yearly event where wrestlers wrestle according to their official GWF ranking. They wrestler the wresters or team directly above them in the rankings, the winner then goes on to wrestle the next highest ranked wrestler or team. There are 5 gauntlets: SPECIAL MATCHES, WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP, TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP, INTERPLANETARY CHAMPIONSHIP and HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP. Only the top 5 ranked superstars wrestle in the HEAVYWEIGHT gauntlet. Matches are held round robin style (first a Special Matches match, then a ladies match, then a Tag Team match, then an IP match, then a HW match) to give the wrestlers a chance to rest between matches.
Results are presented here grouped by Gauntlet.
